Back in December at the Decentralized Hawaii meetup, and again recently as a lunch-and-learn at Eco, I gave a ~1-hour presentation exploring a key question: Who captures value in crypto? Is it layer-one blockchains like Ethereum and Solana, the crypto apps serving end users, or the middleware protocols enabling them?

If you’re newer to crypto, some of this might go over your head - and that’s totally fine. It’s a dense presentation (though I think very listenable!), but my goal is always to show that there’s much more happening in crypto beyond memecoins and speculation.
